Sara Edenheim presents her book Anachronism – Against a historical mania (Anakronismen: Mot den historiska manin) and questions what is always taken for granted, our need for history. The book was published in 2011 by Glänta, as part of the series of essays called Glänta Hardcore. Sara Edenheim is a researcher and lecturer at UCGS and the Department of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies. Current project concerns the philosophy of history and the relation between historical writing, social movements and legal changes. Focus is on temporal claims, legitimising ontologies and political subjecitivication. A side-project concerns the hegemonic status of hermeneutics within historical research. PhD. in History from Lund University in 2005.
